A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 5 am to 6 PM
akst Thursday.
A weather front will move over the northern Alaska Panhandle
producing snow fall amounts of 3 to 5 inches on Thursday. Snow
will then mix with rain as temperatures rise above freezing
late Thursday afternoon.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
This statement will be updated by 8 PM akst this evening or
sooner if conditions warrant.
