Statement as of 3:18 PM AKST on December 03, 2008 ... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am akst Thursday... A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am akst Thursday. Snow will intensify tonight across the region and then gradually taper to scattered snow showers Thursday morning. Total snow accumulation of 6 to 12 inches is expected across the region by late Thursday morning... with highest amounts west of the Parks Highway and north of Talkeetna. A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
