Through 1230 PM EDT (1130 am cdt)...widely scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms will continue to develop across the eastern Florida Panhandle...the Florida Big Bend and the adjacent coastal waters. These showers and isolated storms will move south and southeast with time. Areal rainfall amounts are expected to be on the light side...however a few localized areas may experience a brief downpours in addition to scattered lightning strikes associated with any thunderstorms.

A suspected phone line outage this morning caused several area NOAA weather radios to go off the air this morning. The transmitters affected were... East Point... Salem... bethelehem... Pelham... Blakely... Valdosta and Panama City. These transmitters serve the eastern Florida Panhandle... southeast Alabama... and southwest and south central Georgia.
