Statement as of 4:00 PM PST on December 4, 2008 ... Public information statement... The National Weather Service in Spokane is seeking volunteers to take daily precipitation measurements for the community collaborative rain hail and snow network... also known as cocorahs. More information on the cocorahs network can be found at the website at www.Cocorahs.Org. Idaho is scheduled to join the cocorahs network in January 2009. Idaho residents who are interested in weather and local precipitation patterns are encouraged to attend a combined Skywarn spotter and cocorahs training session to be held in Sandpoint Idaho on December 16 2008 from 6 to 8 PM PST.
