Statement as of 4:19 PM EST on December 01, 2008 ... Winter Storm Warning in effect until 11 PM EST this evening... The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow... which is in effect until 11 PM EST this evening. Snow will continue this evening... and accumulate an additional 1 to 3 inches. This will result in storm total accumulations of 8 to 12 inches this evening. In addition... gusty north winds will lead to areas of blowing snow and reduced visibilities. A Winter Storm Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow will make travel dangerous. If you must travel... use extreme caution.
