I know it is quite a long time away... but I have seen a few interesting scenarios play out over the past 3 days in the long range models. On Thursday and Friday, GFS was forecasting a strong tropical system developing southeast of Bermuda and tracking northwestward at the end of the period. Saturday the storm was completely gone but a unspecific rainy pattern was over New England. Today, the model has another large storm, although not tropical developing off of the Carolinas and moving northward directly impacting all of New England.
Like I said, it's a long way off, but at the moment the GFS, at least, seems to forsee a very stormy period for the southern New England area... at least that general idea has remained consistant.
