Well, here we are, it's the end of November, and it's about time we start talking about snow.
This one doesn't look like it'll be anything monumental, but forecast amounts have been steadily increasing forecast to forecast.

That being said, this storm is basically getting it's act together right over the top of us, and those can be the most unpredictable. Huge amounts of snow can be obtained, even in November, just look at the storm that's going to have taken place exactly 2 years to the day from when we get this one.. the November 30-December 1st, 2006 storm.

I highly doubt we see anything like that, but at least it's nice to see some of the white stuff flying around. As of right now we're sitting at a heavy dusting on the grass, but the roads are still fine.
...Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9 PM this evening to
6 PM CST Sunday...The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 9 PM this
evening to 6 PM CST Sunday.
Precipitation starting as rain will develop over the area this
evening. The rain will change to snow later tonight...and continue
through Sunday. Around 2 inches will be possible before the
accumulating snow ends late Sunday afternoon.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that up to 5 inches of snow is
expected across the advisory area. Roads may rapidly become
slippery once the snow begins...so motorists should plan for a
slower than normal trip. Be especially alert when approaching
bridges...overpasses...and curves.
