Many movies have sequels so why not Hurricanes?

Katrina 2: Gustav

A once is a thousand year event is happening only 3 years since it happened last. Katrina ripped ashore 3 years ago this weekend. That storm changed the world (not just the United States or New Orleans). Today as we watch Gustav strengthen we think to ourselves could this really happen again I mean Katrina was so life shattering to these people that if it happens again how many people would have been affected by both Katrina and Gustav to where there lifes would be ruined. All it will take is a slight deviation in track and we could have Katrina 2 or even Katrina's Big Brother.

I am praying for the folks down in the Gulf States and ask every American to do the same.

I part with a Child's 911 Phone call during the Catastrophic Cat 3 Katrina's Landfall

Dispatcher: “Where are your parents?… What’s your name?”

Caller: “Eric”

Dispatcher: “Eric… can you hear me?”

Caller: “come get me now”

Dispatcher: “there is no one to come get you… Eric can you hear me? Do you understand?”

Caller: (unintelligible)

Dispatcher: “we can’t come get you.. Can you hear me?”

Caller: (unintelligible)

Dispatcher: “Eric can you hear me.. You have to do whatever it takes to save your own life”

Caller: “you come get me now”

Dispatcher: “we can’t come get you until after the storm.

Caller: (unintelligible)

Dispatcher: “we can’t come get you.. Eric can you hear me? “

Caller: “you come get me now!!”

Dispatcher: “No”

Caller: “No?”

Dispatcher “No”

I can not ever get the voice of that little child who to this day is unknown to have survived out of my head.
