It does appear that the N.O.A.A. forecast was about right. We did have a bit of snow early last evening, and by the time I got up this morning it had laid down a crust of ice on top of it. Further, it was raining lightly when I took Ike out for his morning constitutional. It looks like it will be another gray, dismal day to start off the new month. Ahh, December, the real change starts now.
For today the N.W.S. forecasts ice to start the day with light scattered showers for the rest of it. A hefty cloud cover is also forecast, although it is forecast to dissipate somewhat through the day (100%/85%/77%/79%). The NEXRAD regional composite radar shows the majority of the showers to our east, and very little, if anything, to our south. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that this system should last for the bulk of the day. The weather forecast through Thursday seems to be for reasonably fair weather.
My Weather Stick continues to frown because the relative humidity is so high (93%).

My digital instruments all forecast falling barometric pressure. The La Crosse Weather Station has issued a storm warning while the other two instruments forecast foul weather. Based on the radar image I think our storm is about over, but the clouds will persist through the day. The instruments recorded the following low temperatures overnight (28.9°F/28.5°F/29.5°F). So we have another month starting off with foul weather. I still have to wonder if we will have another winter like the last one with two storms almost every week. That could prove to be interesting, but I have had enough of interesting for now..

They did miss the 19:00 and 22:00 hour relative humidity levels, but got the 01:00 and 04:00 hour readings. No Kudos for them this morning, but no demerits either. This was a pretty good job.
