The week began with clear skies both inland and near the coast 11/17 through 11/19-- many inland max temp records were set on 11/17 and 11/18 when nearly a dozen areas in the forecast area had max temps into the 90's--areas near the coast saw max temps in the 80's during the same period. Variable high cloudiness cooled the area off slightly 11/19 through 11/21 bringing max temps down to the 80's inland and 70's on 11/19 and 11/21 closer to the coast. Low clouds and fog also returned to coastal areas beginning on 11/19 giving those areas max temps in the 60's 11/20, 11/22, and 11/23. Inland areas saw the low clouds and fog return the morning of 11/23 which resulted in max temps of around 70 degrees on 11/22 and 11/23. The fall's first really large rainstorm is predicted to hit the area during this next week with lower elevation rains of an inch or more beginning late 11/25 and continuing 11/26.
