All through the forecast for the next 10 days -- snow, snow, snow. Not that I'm surprised, though. Today's just overcast and gloomy, I've been roasting a 14 pound turkey now for 6 1/2 hours, and the thermometer still has the silly thing at 160°F. Ugh. Looks like Thanksgiving dinner is once again Thanksgiving supper. As hubby would say -- the tradition of the bird not getting done continues.... :-)
Tooth is now just kind of there, but I still can't wait until Dec 3rd when I can get it taken care of.
Hey--the J'Moose may become an importer. There's very nice lady out on the Arans who makes the most WONDERFUL hats, scarves, and throws who wants to do a wholesale agreement. Now if I can just figure out how customs works... (I don't have to worry about it for the Irish food I market because it comes through an importer already). Guess that will be my project for tomorrow... :-)
Hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for -- even in an economic downturn. So much more could be going awry. Don't forget to hug someone and be genuinely happy today -- even if it's for just a bit.
Ugh. There goes the 15 min. timer again. Gotta see if the bird's up past 160. I hope so!
Take Care! JM
