Due to the problems inherent in clinging to the roof thirty feet above the pavement, my initial install of the anemometer on a relocated mast wasn't quite lined up to geographic south - it was off by about 10 degrees west, closer to magnetic than geographic south.
With the help of a compass, a sight line to the mast, and my wife, I was able to tweak it over to geographic south this afternoon, at 195 degrees magnetic.
